Did you ever Dream about going on an amazing safari? How about doing it on a motorcycle? The only place in the world where you can ride motorcycles among real wildlife is in Uganda. And we are talking seeing all the big mammals up close. Elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, lions and leopards. This tour is packed with nature experiences. We include a couple of amazing boat trips to see crocodiles, and visit the birthplace of the river Nile and spectacular waterfalls. We ride the open Savanna and visit the dense jungle. We play with chimpanzees and interact with the local African tribes. And we even have a special treat for does who wish to join a hike deep into the jungle to experience the world’s last Silverback Mountain Gorilla. TOUR DETAILS

50% pavement, 50% on gravel, dirt and sandy tracks. Hundreds of curves and extremely scenic roads paved roads of varying quality. Rookie to expert riders and couples are very welcome on this tour. We stay in mid-range hotels, plus 2 nights in safari camp cottages. We always opt for the best option available – clean, safe and practical location. Temperatures can vary between 12 to 40°C (53.6 F to 104°F). Temperatures can drop for a short period going on game drive early mornings. It is recommended to ride with ventilated riding gear. A pull over rain suite is a good idea to carry against mountain temperatures and possible short rain showers that can occur year round.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

You will be picked up from Entebbe Airport and taken to the arrival hotel where you can freshen up before you will meet our team and have briefing about the upcoming Adventure. (0 KM)

DAY 2

Our Adventure starts at 5:30 am in the morning. Why so early? Because of the traffic in Kampala city. We want get out of Kampala city before the traffic jam starts. it could take almost 2hrs to get out of the city if we delay. By 6:15 am we are on the highway and the sun rises around 6:30am so by then we will be enjoying the open road and fresh breeze. Today’s ride takes you to Kibaale forest via Fort Portal town. It is a very beautiful road and you will see some amazing views along the way. We will either have packed breakfast or we will stop somewhere and sit down in a restaurant and enjoy the breakfast, lunch will be served at the destination, make sure your cameras are fully charged to take pics today. (320 km)

DAY 3

Today we have several options. We can hike to track chimp or do a culture walk. Visit a tea plantations or ride to Semuliki National Parka or visit the beautiful city of Fort Portal. You can watch hippos in the lake from your room. The views here are just breath taking and the hotel gives us a unique atmosphere of being in the village yet have complete privacy and nature. Birds watching is one of the most famous activities here. (Optional KM)

DAY 4

Wake up 8 am in the morning, freshen up. Breakfast at the lake side, get ready to leave by 9:30 am, we will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we will arrive at the Hotel by 1pm in time for Lunch. Unpack your luggage and get ready for late afternoon game ride. We will be entering the national park on motorcycles. Our local guide and Ranger will do his upmost to make sure you get to see as much wildlife as possible. We will get back to our hotel by 6 pm, freshen up and get ready for some amazing food which the restaurant offers. Do not walk around alone after dark as wildlife is everywhere around this hotel. (200 KM)

DAY 5

Today we will wake up at 5:30 am, have breakfast, freshen up and get ready for the morning game drive. We will enter the park at 7am in the morning and again our ranger and guide will try their best find as much wildlife as possible for the game drive. Queen Elizabeth national park is famous for its tree climbing lions. If we are lucky we might see lions in the tree, leopard and loads of other wildlife. We will come back to hotel at 11:30 am in the morning to eat lunch and at 2 pm we will go for a boat trip on the kazinga channel. On the boat trip you will be able to see loads of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and tons and tons of birds. around 6 pm, we come back to the hotel for dinner. (Optional KM)

DAY 6

Wake up at 8 am, breakfast, and then we make our way to the famous city of Mountain Gorillas which is call Kisoro town. We will arrive late at the hotel. Lunch in Kabale town on the way through fun all paved road with lots of sharp turns and altitude. Temperature might drops going over the passes. We will have dinner at the hotel. (330 KM)

DAY 7

Riders who wish to go for the optional Gorilla tracking will wake up at 6 am in the morning, have breakfast at the hotel and then  be taking to where the tracking starts. Riders who do not wish to go for Gorilla tracking will have option to ride to Lake Mutanda/Water Falls/Culture Ride or go and see Batwa tribes who have been living with Gorillas in the forest for centuries. After the activities we will all head to Lake bunyonyi which is second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Mutanda. Lake Bunyonyi has some breathtaking views and some of the most beautiful birds in Africa, get ready to be amazed today. (130 KM)

DAY 8

Today we will have breakfast at 8 am, get ready to head out by 10 am to Lake Mburo National Park. Its a smallest National Park in Uganda, but has loads of animals in a very small area. We will have lunch in Mbarara City which is second biggest City in Uganda. Arrival at the hotel around 1 pm as we will do a late afternoon Game drive on the bikes. We will have another good chance at seeing leopards in this park. The park is famous for its beautiful antelopes and zebras. By 6:30 pm we will be back at the hotel for a good dinner served at 8 pm. At night we can get together around the bon fire and share stories under the open and bright sky. (130 KM)

DAY 9

Today we will wake up at 7 am and enjoy the breakfast before getting ready to head to Kampala. We should arrive in Kampala before 5 pm to avoid the rush hour of Kampala. We eat lunch on the Equator. (200 KM)

DAY 10

Depending what time is your flight leaves we can arrange a small tour of chaotic Kampala for you on scooters. We do not use big bikes in Kampala city traffic. The city tour takes around 2-3 hrs. Your airport transfer is ready to take you to airport anytime. If you wish to stay longer we are happy to help you make hotel reservations. (Optional KM)
