The BMW F750 GS is a street version adventure tourer
While many of MotoDreamer’s tours are adventure type mixed terrain tours where the F850 GS is usually a more suitable option, the BMW F750 GS distinguish it self with a lower seat height due to the 19 inch front wheel rather that 21 inch on the F850 GS. The F750 GS also has a shorter suspension travel placing the gravity point lower and with a wider front wheel you have more traction in the curves. These features make the bike handle remarkably better on paved curves than the big brother.
Yet the off road capabilities are almost non existing and this bike is not recommended for anything but light gravel and fire roads. Again, as with the BMW F850 GS, the built quality of this new 50’s version has dropped dramatically with the moving of production to Loncin in China and it has left a lot to wish for compared to the older F700 GS model. We recommend to only use these F750 GS bikes if you have a good support team or ride in areas with 24 hour roadside assistance and a nearby BMW dealership.
Luckily you are in good hands on tour with MotoDreamer and we know how to prepare for eventualities.
